Education and training as a public service<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Cagliari State Archives fulfils an educational role that supports and complements its protection, conservation, and research activities.<br>Through training initiatives and collaborative pathways, the Institution promotes knowledge of archival sources, the historical method, and the civic value of documentary memory.<br>These activities fall outside the scope of advanced specialist training, which is entrusted to the School of Archival, Palaeography and Diplomatic Studies (APD), and are distinct from the programming of cultural events and guided tours.<br>The aim is to foster an ongoing relationship between the Archive, educational institutions, universities, and the community, turning sources into tools for learning and reflection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"scuole\">2. Activities with schools<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Archives works with schools at all levels through educational activities designed to bring students and teachers closer to the documentary heritage and the history of institutions.<br>The proposed programmes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"has-medium-font-size\">introduce the meaning of archival sources<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-medium-font-size\">explain how an archive works and the role of the archivist<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-medium-font-size\">support school teaching with materials and activities aligned with the curriculum<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These initiatives can take different forms, adapting to teachers\u2019 needs and students\u2019 ages, and help develop critical reading skills and historical awareness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"universita-e-ricerca\">3.
