Term: Copy
Reproduction of an original document made by hand, by typewriter or by photocopying; in itself it has no legal force. A copy acquires legal validity when it is defined as “authentic” or “certified”, that is, when it is issued by a body authorised to produce copies that conform to the original and bears the relevant authentication marks.
